Minty

Terms

Last updated 11 October 2026

In short

These are the terms for using Minty. By using Minty you agree to them, and to our Privacy Policy.

Minty gives information, not advice

Minty explains money and compares products so you can decide for yourself. Nothing on Minty is financial, investment, tax, legal or immigration advice. For advice on your own situation, speak to a licensed professional.

Your account

  • You must be 18 or over to have an account.
  • Your account is for you alone. Keep the email address you sign in with secure.
  • You can delete your account at any time, from your profile.

Minty AI

  • Minty AI can be wrong. Check anything important before you act on it.
  • Never type a password, PIN, OTP, card number or account number. Minty never asks for them.
  • A free account can ask up to 5 questions a day and 50 a month.

Rates, fees and products

  • We check the figures we show and tell you when we last checked them. Providers change their rates and fees, so always confirm with the provider before you apply.
  • When you apply for a product, you deal with the provider, on the provider's own terms. Minty is not part of that agreement.
  • A list in plain order is not a ranking. A ranked list says what it is ranked on.

How Minty makes money

Minty is free to use. You can ask, compare and learn without paying. This is how Minty earns money, and what it will never do to earn it.

  • Paid extras. Some extra help is paid for, such as a plan with more Minty AI questions. You always see the price before you pay.
  • Referral fees. A provider may pay Minty a fee when you open a product through a link on Minty. Every such link is labelled: Referral link. Minty may earn a fee.
  • Sponsors. A lesson may have a sponsor. It is always labelled.
  • Organisations. Employers, universities and youth programmes may pay for Minty for their people.

Paid partners never change a rank.

A product cannot pay to be listed higher, to be marked best for anything, or to have a weakness left out.

We do not sell your personal information.

Community

Questions on the Community wall are shown without your name. When you post one, you allow Minty to publish it, with an answer, for others to learn from. Do not post:

  • names, account numbers or anything that identifies a person
  • links, adverts, referral codes or promotions
  • scams, or anything unlawful or abusive

Every question is read by a person before it appears. We may edit a question or decline to publish it.

Using Minty fairly

Do not misuse Minty: no copying its content in bulk, no attempts to break in or overload it, and no use of it to mislead or harm others. We may suspend an account that does.

Our responsibility to you

We work to keep Minty accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either. Money decisions are yours to make. As far as the law allows, Minty is not responsible for a loss that follows from a decision you made using it. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we will tell you in Minty before the change takes effect.
